It doesn’t always rain in San Diego, but when it does, it doesn’t hold back!

After spending 18 days in stormy Texas visiting family, we were hoping to come back to some of the famous San Diego sunshine. Instead we were met with about 5 days straight of rain. Normally that would mean I would be holed up inside, hot coffee in hand and a movie on TV, however, I decided to put my waterproof camera to the test, shoo Nev outside in her rain coat and boots, and capture some fun shots! I mean, it’s not every day that your mom lets you go dance in the pouring rain!

I was pleasantly surprised to see some of the rich Fall colors in our neighborhood hadn’t completely disappeared and made for some gorgeous tones with the gloomy clouds!

I’m looking forward to a, hopefully, beautiful spring with all this rain!
